House Saga

So I don't think I ever updated here or on FB. The sellers of the house received another offer last Thursday and their RE agent called ours, to see if we wanted to bring our offer back to the table.  As I have been able to sit on this for quite some time, I realize whereas I do love that house it needs at least 300K to make it what i want it to be.  Our offer while low, needed to be much lower than what we offered.  So I declined going back to the table.  Well suffice to say the other offer must have been lower than ours because the house is still on the market nothing pending. HA!   I have really done my research now and we have found 4 houses in similar condition and square footage, priced between 315K and 425K so clearly these sellers and their agent are misinformed, even our agent confirms that it's over priced.  The great news now is they always have to come back to us but in the meantime we are looking at other options and still contemplating remodeling our house, as each day moves on that house holds less charm for me.    We met with an architect this past weekend to discuss our house and what could be done. Our location: we can walk to the grocery store, banks, starbucks, drug store, bars, parks, and Aidan will be able to walk to school when he is a bit older, it's a good location.  The architect was great and sounds like I cold get everything I want: Namely bigger kitchen, family room and master suite with walk in closet. That bumps our house to a 4 bedroom, 3 bath house that's all good!  So lots to think about  during the holiday season!

The 50/50 boot from Stuart Weitzman fit me oddly so I passed those and got a knee high style instead.



But know I am thinking I could have gone down in size in the 50/50 and they maybe they would be
over the knew stay tuned might go back to try that!
