the final chapter
So most of you saw this on facebook but we are done with the house. After a long talk with my agent this morning, he confirmed the 3 siblings that own the house 1 wants to sell and the other 2 don't want to sell. Ugh. My agent thinks he could get them down another 20K which might be worth it but seriously this house needs work and I will document it here so as to remind myself why we stopped trying to get it:1: to the studs new kitchen, 2 the studs main bath, extension of upstairs bathroom with tub or shower/remodel too. Face lift for 3/4 bathroon downstairs. Wood paneling (not the fake kind real cedar lined rooms, 1 bedroom, hallway stair area to basement also laundry room, wall paper removal in master bedroom and re plaster walls and ceiling, wall paper removal stairs to second floor, 1 other bedroom, new back door, new property fence-replace chain link on one side and replace old fence aroudn back yard, new garage doors, new tile around the fireplace, window treatments for the whole house-they removed everything...ummm exhausted thinking about it? I was actually totally excited to re-do this house but i still I have the belief if it was meant to be it still will be.
