Where to start....

So things have been going good lately. I have to call the doctor tomorrow to make sure that nothing is wrong, and I'm a little nervous, but I'm trying to keep it in check.

I got to talk to my Missa yesterday, which was a thrill and half!! I miss her sooooo much!!!!

Also, I was off yesterday. I was still able to work Saturday (I had previously requested off for this whole weekend and then decided I didn't need off since I missed a whole week of school). I made $82 so that was good, and it was awesome to have a Sunday off. I stayed with Nic Saturday night, didn't get out of bed until 11:15 the next morning, went home, did some work, came back to Nic's to finish watching the race and visit with his family. My nephew came over and that was fun. After dinner, Nic and I rode the dirt bike, which was awesome, then rented The Pacifier, and went to bed. It was the best day I've had in a long time. It was peaceful and it felt so carefree. I wasn't worried or stressed about anything yesterday. I wish every day was like that.

When Nic and I were at Blockbuster I met this guy, he had noticed my Radford shirt, and asked me about it. Turns out he majored in Psychology and is a director at some New River Valley place that works with the mentally retarded and mentally ill (yes there's a difference). He told me about internships (so maybe next year or something). And then he told me about this book called The Color Code by Taylor Hartman, Ph.D. I bought it last night, and it is not only a wonderful investment for the future, but the single most wonderful thing that I have ever read. The gist of it is, that every person can divide their core personality (which he says comes complete at birth) into one of four colors. There is of course, blending between the colors for everyone's personality, but you should be predominantly one or the other. There is a personality profile that you take to find out what color you are. I am equally Blue and Yellow, but after reading the profiles about each color, I identify more with the Blue than the Yellow. It tells you how different aspects of your personality affect everything from your job, to your everyday life, to your friendships, to your marriage. It's amazing. I think that Nic's going to take the profile thing tonight so that we can find out exactly what we may have to work on. It's really cool.

Alright that's enough for now. Love y'all!
