Hmmm..let's see, I'm sure I have something interesting to write about...
Tomorrow is Jason's 23rd birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HONEY!! I know he doesn't ever read this, but if he does, he'll know I was thinking of him. That is so weird that he is going to be 23. When we met he was only 15 and I was 14. We didn't start dating until he was 18 and I was 17, but still. It was about this time 5 years ago that we started "dating" or "going out" whatever you want to call it. I always remember when it was because of our "1st date" we were going to go on. We had been talking and we found out that Halloween was our favorite holiday. We thought it would be fun to go to the Halloween store at the mall and look around. We never ended up doing that, but as soon as I see that store open at the mall I think of when we started dating. He's such a little cutie and I love him very much.
Brodie is 16 months old today. That is so unbelievable!! I remember when he was little tiny I could not imagine what he would be like as a little boy. All I could picture was him being a little baby forever. Now that he is a toddler, I can't even remember when he was a baby. He calls me mommy now and I just think that is the cutest thing in the world.
I am such a huge dork because I love my job so much. I mean really, how many people actually look forward to going to work? Not many!! Well, I do. I've almost been there a year and that excited feeling I get every day when I walk in lab is still going strong. I think I like it so much because I get to use my hands, I am always doing something different, and I really feel like I am helping people by doing my job well. I wish that everyone could find a job they love as much as I love mine. I'm such a nerd!!
Well, I don't know too much else. We are having a cook-out tomorrow for labor day and I'm going to take jello cake. Mmmmm...jello cake. Okay..that's all for now!
