Fake news a term we have heard in the last few years on television. Who used the term is not relevant. Today I want to discuss how I feel that term applies in my life at the moment. Personally I don't watch the news for my own reasons how ever from time to time I check the weather. So many channels and methods of obtaining this information. How much of it is accurate and or true?
I don't say it to be malicious but more as a bad joke that makes you chuckle when you hear it or think about it. For a week now I have heard talk about how badly we were to be affected by this storm. People went out shopped like it was the end of the world and all we got was a rainy windy day.
I know I was thinking oh that fake news always pulling one over on you lol. You see umbrella sales are down we fix it no problem tell them its going to rain buckets full they can't leave the house without a life vest and an umbrella and watch sales shoot right back up where we want them. Then we wow didn't you dodge a bullet so you spent all your money unnecessarily on things you don't really need but hey better safe then sorry right you will be ready for the next time!
So if you want the real weather don't watch the fake news on television just look out the window and guess. You winging it will be about as accurate as the news says it is. Prepare for a chance of sudden winter day in the middle of a summer heatwave.
