Happy New Year
I had a pleasant holiday season.
Nothing outlandish.
Just the usual gathering together and hanging out- snacking or eating a dinner together.
Watching some movies.
Nothing crazy.
Just hiding away from the outside world.
Regrouping as a family...that sort of thing.
Only the family has grown since last year.
1of4 has a new family of her own.
She finally found the love of her life- who happens to be a friendly werewolf.
He has a small cub from a previous marriage- a three year old darling that made the holidays extra exciting.
While hanging out and watching movies, we also watched her run around like a tiny crazy person.
And since she's only three- she can't speak English correctly, so her mixed up words and mispronunciations gave us extra amusement.
And of course, 2of4 has her vampire boyfriend.
And now, I have my Sweet Baboo.
Though we've already gotten into arguments over politics and other situations that I knew would divide us-
he always apologizes and says he understands now and can see things my way.
Which is all that I ask for.
Having my opinion taken seriously.
All in all, we've had a wonderful time together- and I can only hope that we have more happy gatherings and support each other during trying times.
Because that's another thing I can only ask for.
