Here and Con....

Things had been on the downslide recently.
One bad thing happening followed by something worse.
I kept asking, "How bad can this get? Could be worse."
Then, something worse would happen.
So I kept my mouth shut.

Just now had the time to get 2of4 to upload a few photos from the Con.
CON!!!

Here's what the special expensive 'Meet-the-wrestler' tickets entitled the kids to:

Took forever to make those costumes and I finished by the skin of my teeth.
That's the nightwatch guy, the little Stark girl, the warrior protector who doesn't do a good job protecting and Jo-jo the dog-faced boy.

Here's my son with 'Heisenberg.'

He was passing little baggies of blue meth (rock candy)

And here's me, sans costume because I didn't have time to make mine, with the God of Thunder.

I think my Sweet Baboo was a bit jealous.
I told him not to worry, it wasn't Loki.

Couldn't get shots of me and Sweet Baboo meeting the original Batman and Robin cuz we kept getting yelled at when we took our cameras out.
And it cost too much to take a professional photo with them.
Silly me, I just assumed it was part of the crazy ticket price that you could go around and get pictures and autographs with all the celebrities.

I am sooooo naive.

But Robin was very nice, he wanted to know if we had any questions after he signed a Batman soundtrack album (Sweet Baboo's when he was 4 years old).
The autograph was $50.
He gave me a $20 discount after I told him there would never be another Robin in my life.

I asked him who his favorite villain was.
He said villains were 'bad' people and no one should really have a favorite, but as far as all the actors that portrayed the villains and the cameos of all the special guests (poking their heads out the windows when the dynamic duo climbed up the walls) he said he couldn't pick a favorite because they were all wonderful.

Then, when we went up to meet the original batman- he kept pointing at me before we even got to his table and was calling me 'Trouble.'
"That there is Trouble!" he pointed, and to make sure his assistant heard him, he repeated it over and over, "She's trouble, I'm telling you."

When I told him that they can cast anyone they want for batman- Clooney, Bale, Kilmar... it doesn't matter. People go to the movies and see these actors for 2, maybe 3 hours- and at their convenience.
We used to drop everything and watch the tv series.
I told him he was a very important part of our life....
He will ALWAYS be batman.

He said, "Someone told me that I was immortal. And I thought, well, if I'm immortal... that means I can never leave here."
I told him I don't want him to go anywhere.
And he said he knew I was trouble- and he repeated that again.

Sweet Baboo thought that was amusing.
He told batman that we knew each other in high school and that I was trouble back then, too.
Batman found that amusing.
He said he thought we were both great, but I told him HE was great.
And he called me 'Trouble' one last time.
2of4 said it was because he could sense the Catwoman in me.

And in spite of his $80 autograph on Sweet Baboo's album cover-
that was a nice thought to come away with.
