Just Checking In
This has been a busy week at work and at home. And there has been a lot of car stuff going on. My son had a driving lesson last week with someone from church who was kind enough to do this for him. My son took a turn too fast, and ran the car, a Dodge Durango, into and out of a ditch. Moderate damage, but it did make it home and I was able to take it to the shop, where it remains today. Thank heavens that the Durango is my second car, the one I had purchased for my ex-husband and brought with me when I moved.
The man I'm dating has also had car issues. Last Monday, a woman ran a red light and plowed into the side of his car (the driver's side, where he was) The car is totalled and he fortunately had only a few sore muscles. That was bad, but he has a second car, a 1987 Ford Pickup, which promptly broke down Tuesday morning. It' fixed now, and runs well, and the Durango will also be alright.
It's just funny how things like that run in 3's.
Father/Mother God, thank you for the happiness in life, and for the ability to see humor.
