Gah! That was absolutely lovely - definitely what I needed first thing this morning. It was *so* in character, for both, that I felt like it was missing scene from Threads. I love how Sam reads Jack's mind but beats him to the kiss, and I love LOVE “You’ve always been pretty good at solving my problems.”
