So I am still alive, but the gymnastics world championships were last week, and also a virus (or possibly two?) that my house apparently needed to be infected with. Or else maybe my family were faking being sick because they were trying to avoid having me monologue about gymnastics in their direction. This is highly possible. Anyone who wants to talk to me about Simone Biles - wait, I mean gymnastics - should feel free to do so in the comments, and my hubs and children would thank you for the reprieve. ;)
But! While I try to catch up on everything, have a recipe (with apologies to the gluten-free or low-sugar requiring folks among you). I made this
banana apple bread last week because it's fall and there are apples everywhere, and it was dangerously good. Though I think it would be more appropriately labelled banana apple coffee cake rather than banana apple bread. Would be a good "fancy Christmas morning" breakfast sort of thing, really. Definitely a keeper. PS I used pecans instead of walnuts, because.
Happy Monday! Also Happy Thanksgiving in Canada. :)
