In honor of your Catherine Langford fic, here is a cut scene from my Catherine Langford universe. It's cut from the part I haven't posted yet so it might not make sense but I don't care. :P

He managed to wait until dinner before taking her up on her offer, showing up at her house with pizza, beer, and an unfounded fear of being turned away. It was the cat that might or might not exist, he thought. It took a couple of tries before the doorbell made itself known over the loud music inside the house. The volume went down and he heard her yell something before she opened the door.

She was wearing a tank top and sweatpants that didn’t quite fit. Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail. It was cute and he wondered why she never wore it like that at work. He handed off the beer and carried the pizza to the kitchen. All the cabinet doors were open, and there was a trash can in the middle of the room. His own kitchen had looked the same more than once.

“Cleaning?”

“Yeah,” she said.

The pizza was content to sit on the island so Jack pulled her close and let his hands wander down to where her pants hung low on her hips. “I like your cleaning outfit.”

She raised an eyebrow at him, amused but keeping it to herself. “Is this some sort of weird fetish I need to know about?”

Jack looked her over one more time, slowly, taking in all the good parts. There were a lot of them. Yeah, the cleaning outfit was pretty hot. He could make a weird fetish out of it. “Maybe,” he told her.

She laughed and pushed him away. He couldn’t compete with the pizza. “I’ll keep that in mind,” she said. She pulled two plates out of the cabinet and closed the door out of habit. It looked like the rebel of the group so Jack opened it before sitting down.

I swear I am not trying to snub people by being a disaster at replying back to comments and things at the moment. Just, I keep thinking, "Okay, I am going to reclaim my fun hobbies now!" and then life is like, "Yeah, no, not really yet." ARGH.

Anyway. This is really adorable and how is it a cut scene??? Hee. I don't care if it doesn't have the context, it makes perfect sense to me. I may have to go re-read the finished parts now. :)

I'm just going to post the rest of the story in your journal. In little tiny pieces. So you have to log in all the time.
