Okay, Covert Affairs. You and I need to talk.
(Cutting for spoilers, through the end of Tuesday's ep, Fool in the Rain.)
Now look here, show. I TOTALLY KNEW that was coming. I KNEW IT. Ever since that freeze frame look/instant between Jai and Ben Mercer at the end of In the Light. Okay? Jai had to be all messily involved in that Ben backstory somewhere. I KNEW.
But seriously, you couldn't have waited till next season to give it to us on screen like that? Because I had this perfectly nice little fic going over here (with a plot and everything, and come on, how often does that actually happen to me? a plot? I don't even know what that is) and now you have messed it all up because Annie has figured the connection out already and that is a problem, do you understand? And I'm sure you are just going to mess my poor fic up more next week, aren't you?!? What, you want your season finale to be all impressive and revelation-y and stuff? Grr.
*solemnly swears never to write fic for an active canon ever again*
*stomps off in huff*
(PS - Wait, flist, you say you aren't watching Covert Affairs yet? Why not? I need people to sway over into my really unpopular Annie/Jai corner of fandom. I mean, it's so unpopular I think I might be standing over here by myself. I'm really entertaining company! I promise! And anyway there's lots of eye candy of either gender and kicking of ass in stiletto heels. And spies. And Washington, DC (except not really, because the show's filmed in Toronto). And did I mention all the really pretty people? lol)
