Wait, what was the prompt? I FAIL AT REMEMBERING ANYTHING NON-PRE-K ORIENTED!

This was totally made of win, and was all heart warming and such. I want to copy and paste all the sweet little moments that made my shipper heart do happy dances, but I'd need to cut and paste the entire thing into my comment!

But this bit gave me chills...It wasn't a whim, he told himself. More of a tactical adjustment. And anyway, plans and timelines didn't seem all that important right now. Especially not with her hand resting against his face and his sliding up her neck and that little humming sound she'd made vibrating through her sweet lips against his mouth.

Carter kissed like she laughed, warm and alive. Just for him, and completely perfect....the happy kind of chills!

IIRC, we were watching Lost City, and for some reason the subject of Jack having dinner at the White House came up. To the tune of "Poor Jack" and "Hee hee hee". And we said, "Why is there not more fic of that?" And you both said, "Go now!" And I said something along the lines of "Meh." And then I think I started writing it before I went to bed, lol.

ANYWAY, I am glad you liked it! I thought you might need a grin after the week you'd had.
