WTF, Billy Mays is dead, too?! I found out this morning and I'm shocked. Honestly, I'm not over Michael Jackson and then this shit happens. It's fucking creepy how many celebrities are dying. I'm still not over Steve Irwin's death...this is bad.
Anyway, yesterday was my grandma's 80th birthday party, which was pretty awesome. I met some of my mom's cousins that I either haven't seen in my life or I met them once when I was an infant, so that was cool. I also met my cousin's girlfriend. Well, he's actually my second cousin, but I don't have any first cousins. At our table was my two sisters, this cousin(~33) and his girlfriend, and my other (2nd) cousin (37) and his wife. I love them all so much! I felt like a real person instead of "one of the kids", maybe because my sisters and I were the only people under 30 or so allowed, which was pretty cool. I love my younger cousins, but they can be pretty wild sometimes, especially the boys. My older sister got insanely drunk, which was just obnoxious. She got all loud and chatty (well, more than usual), and then when we went back to my aunt's house, she fell asleep. Gah, she's annoying sometimes!
Today I went over my friend Patti's house and went in her pool for about 5 seconds. It was fucking cold! I enjoyed sitting next to the pool working on my tan, though. We watched Driving Lessons, too, which was a cute movie. I've loved Rupert Grint since I was 7, so it was nice to see him in something other than Harry Potter. Her mom hates this movie, and I have no idea why! It was adorable.
I'm STILL coughing like a fucking beast. This cold is lingering far too long. I was coughing really horribly last night after the party...I was kinda scared for myself. It seems to be on its way out...then again, it's been "on its way out" for about 3 days. I have a headache now, too. I think it's my allergies acting up from mmy friend's dogs; she has two adorable Border Collies and I can't help but pet them. I shouldn't, but they're too cute! Hopefully I'll feel better after eating some leftovers from yesterday. Penne a la vodka,as made by my aunt= win.
