This album is really good. I want to catch Mae and put them in a bottle to keep all for myself. I hope they don't make it big like Relient K; maybe I can hold on to this band. Anyway, the album is really good.

I went to Barnes and Nobles with Jimi and Scott, and me and Scott were looking at CDs and Jimi was gone doing something. I was looking for Alicia Keys and Gwen Stefani (her new video for Cool is really good and so is the song). I couldn't find Gwen, but I ran into Mae. I got their old CD from Ashley who got it for me for Christmas (yessssss!) the Destination: Beautiful one. That's a good album too, get it. So I ran into their section at B&N, and I saw a new CD, The Everglow. I didn't know they had a 3rd album released since their first, I thought their newest was Destination: B-sides, which is just remixes of their songs. So I looked at it, played the Prologue which was the first track and was captured. It plays like those tapes in kindergarten where it would say like this: Welcome to Lacey Smith's Three Blind Mice. When you hear this sound, you know to turn the page. *Beep*. And you would turn the page. Well The Everglow starts like that, but there is not constant beeping after every song, it just plays in nicely to grab your attention.

I love the first real track, We're So Far Away. It's heavily -- well okay all but 3 seconds piano. It's slow and romantic. And the lyrics just play the music really well. You have to hear it.

The album art for this album is magnificent. Asterik Studios was in charge. Go pick up the album and check it out. They make me happy inside and out.

I went through the booklet along with the CD, as the prologue instructed. It was fun and dorky. But that's me. It was like a story. The art was so simple, but alive. You just have to see it.

Best Tracks: We're So Far Away, Suspension, The Ocean, The Sun and Moon (this one is like 6 minutes piano music. The lyrics are beautiful though.)

I love piano music. That means. . .
I love John Legend, Alicia Keys, Mae, Relient K, Matthew Thiessen and the Earthquakes (Purevolume them! Oh they're delicious.)

I think I might like Michael Buble. He's from that one Starbucks commercial where this supposedly "ugly" asian becomes a really attractive Michael Buble. And he starts singing. I like his voice. Google him.

This is probably the longest post this summer, which is going good. I love Alison Ashley Rachel Jimi Abebe Scott. I put their names in all one big heart.

As Thiessen would say:

smooches and tata for now!
