These are things that I believe. I am writing this list to see if my views on some issues change over time.
as a human:
I believe that all people are naturally good.
I do not believe on enforcing my will on others.
I do not believe in becoming the aggressor in any situation, however I believe in strong defenses.
I believe that Homosexuals are not the new black people the two closes group to experiencing what it is like to be black are the Jewish and Hispanics.
I believe that abortion does not fit into my morals, but I do not believe in imposing my morals on others.
I believe celebrities should stop telling us what to think or do. They are normal people who for some reason became famous. They are not that special.
as a Politically Minded American:
I believe that the government is in place to protect people, who need protecting, not place moral rules on the people.
I believe that abortion is not an issue that the government should be dealing with.
I believe that abortion does not fit into my morals, but I do not believe in imposing my morals on others.
I believe that homosexuality is not an issue that the government should be bothered with.
I believe that the country should not know what faith if any the presidents or government leader practice. I do not care if you are Christian, Hindu, Pagan, Agnostic, or Jewish. If you are intelligent enough to make decisions that are best for the people, you should have the job.
I believe that the minimum wage should be enough for one person to live off of. The current state of $5.15/hour is not just sad, it is criminal. (I mean gas cost over $3.00 in most cities) It also makes the upper classs dollar worth more while the poors dollar worth less.
I believe that raising the minimum wage might help solve the immigration problem. It is hard to find people to nanny or work in hot field for $5.15/hour. It is a lot easier to find people to do these jobs for 8.00/hour.
I believe that most neglected generation is not the elderly it is the people who are between the ages of 17-30. More than 75% of which are under insured or uninsured.
As a Black Man:
I believe that states that still argue about rebel flag being apart of state flag dont understand history, and what that symbol means to the people who were enslaved under the flag.
I believe that Jesse Jackson needs to go away. He has done a lot for the black community in his day. Currently he has become more interested in being famous than the causes that he is representing.
I believe that there is a new set of black leaders who need their voices heard. To name two large ones: Micheal Eric Dyson and Barack Obama.
As a Christian:
I believe Christians should spread Christianity to those who are willing to accept it. I do not believe in converting people away from beliefs that they have set in place.
I believe Jesus is anything but conservative, I believe that Jesus is a huge rebel.
I believe that if you can be described as a Conservative Christian you missed Jesus message.
Finally I believe that only 5% of everyone who reads this will get to the end on the blog.
