So... if YOUR life was a movie, what would the soundtrack be?
Here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool...
7. When you're finished tag some other people to do it!
Opening Credits:
Rent - Seasons of Love (wow)
Falling In Love:
Mat Kearney - All I Need (all I need is Mat Kearney!)
Fighting Song:
Menken & Ashman (Beauty and the Beast) - The Mob Song (i swear i did not alter that one- this thing is freakishly nsync - hha)
Breaking Up:
Something Happens - Momentary Thing (perfect, no?)
Prom:
Jet - Come Around Again (interesting)
Life:
John Travolta (Grease) - Greased Lightnin' (it's a little sad that the theme song of my life would be greased lightnin' - a bunch of horny high school boys singing around a hot rod)
Mental Breakdown:
Xavier Cugat & his Orchestra(Down with Love Soundtrack)- One Mint Julep
- an orchestral break down song - classic
Driving:
Frank Sinatra - Nice 'N' Easy (we've entered the 1950s period of my movie, enjoy)
Flashback:
Jet - Holiday (i promise i didn't stack the Jet on - it just happens that I love them - how convenient) :)
Getting Back Together:
Frank Sinatra - Three Coins in the Fountain (the sad thing is i haven't heard this song since i bought the cd- 3 years ago... hmm)
Wedding:
Martin Guerre (Soundtrack) - Bethlehem (now its getting a little random...)
Birth Of Child:
Shalamar - Dancing in the Streets (which I wouldn't be doing after giving birth)
Final Battle:
Joan Baez - Guantanamera (I didn't even know i had this song -thanks Joanie)
Death Scene:
Phantom Planet - Turn Smile Shift Repeat (depressing)
Funeral Song:
Jet - Kings Horses (I guess I'm just blessed with Jet - although the artists are repeating a little more than i'd like - i'm more versitile i promise)
End Credits:
Lisa Loeb - Fools like Me
This has been very interesting... lots of soundtrack songs - fitting i guess - and throw backs to the good old peachy keen days.
Thanks
enjoy the rest of the show - playing daily at UA.
