Set up your wardrobe for success

Mar 01, 2013 20:49

Your wardrobe might not seem like the most obvious place for keeping you on Plan, but just consider what an important role your clothes play in how you feel about yourself. Plus, a poorly laid-out wardrobe can be time consumingin the mornings, adding to your stress and taking away from your time to prepare for the day ahead.

ACTION PLAN
• Set up a “tomorrow” space

• Don't hang on to your “before” clothes

Set up a “tomorrow” space. Add a couple of hooks and/or a basket to the front of your wardrobe so each evening you can lay out everything you need for the following day. Start with your work clothes to make your mornings easy. Add workout clothes (in a gym bag if necessary) and any other equipment.

Don't hang on to your “before” clothes. If you've lost enough weight to have gone down a clothing size or two, clear out those “before” clothes. They can feel like a buffer zone if your habits start to relax enough for you to gain a pound or few back. Organise a clothing swap, or donate them to charity. ©
