well... it seems i have returned from paddington land... hmm what did i get up to... (not that you want to know, but still)
SUNDAY: spent four hours in a car bumming my way up to the land of paddingtons and morphines and where they have no toilet doors (the morphines have no toilet door....just so you know...)
then i randomly piddled about with cousins.. cruising with Death From Above.. on fullll blast !! haha...
MONDAY: Off to York for shopping and buying of guitars and me a sexy jade top and some new jeans (cos my cousin told me off and said i couldnt wear jeans with holes in the crotch, especially not when meeting patrick wolf.. although i think *after seeing what he was wearing* he wouldve loved my jeans!!).. and then off to york fibbers to catch the SEX which was Patrick Wolf...
firstly we met him outside pizza hut, and i walked up rather unsurely.. and said "What's the time Mr Wolf?" OMGWD im a twat !! hahah then we chatted for a bit (*HES FUCKIN HOT GIRLIES*) then he had to go but said he'd see us at the gig...
so we got there, and mingled a little, there was a random drunk outside which was rather amusing.. then i started randomly talking to this guy from wakefield who was waiting for his friend.. he liked my hair *shucks* turns out he was a photographer for some magazine... then we got inside and i bought some random patrick badges cos im a whore for badges and things like that..
then i marched across the floor of york fibbers.. and sat next to some lads, one of which looked much like Dan from Blackwire.. but it wasnt. otherwise id have slapped him for putting me CLOTHED in Tory's bath..
on came the support... and oh my god they were something.. The Bloody Mairies! yes they were irish NOTE: IM IRISH... they looked like something out of a Tarrant on TV clip... the girl who had a kinky in her hair was rather large and looked like something out of the adams family.. and she had no bra on.. wearing a disgusting pseudo gothic crop top which almost fell down.. (I HAD TO SHIELD MY EYES!!) nearly threw up..
the drummer looked like peter kay.. and the synths player looked like a vicar, an old geezer... kinda pervy lookin'. and they sounded like system of a down *cringes*..
anyhow, they found out that i was a journo and reviewing the night... *(thanks to one of the lads there nicknaming me "too good for NME")*.. and they gave me a fuckin demo CD !! Its fuckin appauling !! but bless them all the same...
then on came Patrick.. and OMGSH i nearly fainted.. the crowd were completely in awe of him... he made us all speachless !! Then i got talking to this other lad.. who sneaked me ONSTAGE !!! and patrick beckoned !!! AND I SAT ON PATRICK WOLF'S PIANO STOOL WHILE HE PLAYED !!! and he gave me his plectrum and his set list and signed shit loadsa stuff for meeeeee... then we went backstage... (with my new friends-who-are-boys)... and then we had to go home:( cos my cousin had to drive back to hulllllllll but anyway,....
we departed and the random lads got my mobile number.. haha was foooony.. one of them was so obviously gay, but he was soo sweet blesshim.. he was like "would you mind if i texted you once" haa !!!
ok so yeah... then we drove home, listening to Moving Units, and OF COURSE... Patrick Wolf - Lycanthropy.. all the way home..
TUESDAY - TODAY:
-did random little things, indie nights, played guitar etc etc...
-yesterday (so embarrassing) we went to the skate park in Hornsea.. cos we were utterly bored... and there's a cool little kiddy's park with a moving roundabout (which moves by itself - UBER COOLNESS) .. so we went to play.. and my cousin was mocking me for being a child !! so i ran like a doofus,.. slipped in the mud and went arse over tit in the mud.. in front of all the toddlers OMG HOW EMBARRASSSING !!
it had to fuckin happen to me n all ! bastards.... anyway... yeh... im a goon...
-made some badges toooo with mon cousin... i made a Help She Can't Swim badge...
-had random texts/phonecalls from Dan and his friends... i dont think he likes me.. i hope he goes to pink Grease... i think Luke and Alice are.. so that's all groovyy... ahh welllllll.... AND JOE KRELLE BETTER COME TO OR MONKEYS WILL GO FIND HIM... im so excited ! I LOVE PINK GREASE !! AND I SOOO CANT WAIT TO INTERVIEW !!
but first... im going to do some interviews with Poweller on Sunday *(exciting)* shit... gotta text him to sort bus/lifts back..
