Playstation 3 for $40 - Target's Mistake, Internet's Flop
Here's the short version: Today, Target's website had an error displaying 60gb PS3's for $39.99. Amazon's price from target (amazon being the middle man) also switched to reflect this. The internet went nuts. It's still on both sites for that price. However, out of stock and back-ordered, with policies set to cancel at the company's behalf in case of error. Target's checkout also lists the item as something else (an SMG attachment for the playstation move) if you take it to that point, which that item doesn't street date until ~Feb 22nd. Reading message boards for my own enjoyment at human beings behaving like they were just decapitated, one of my favorite quotes has to be this, "I'm bouttadestroy the CEO of target with the guns they sending me..." LOLOLOLOLOLOL that poor bastard probably ordered like 50 of them and probably spent so much of his minimun wage-valued time trying to scheme as many PS3's as possible.
