Killed for Organ Donation?

The article

So how do you guys feel? Kid wasn't an organ donor, doctors guilted the father into signing organ donor papers, and allegedly took them before he was even dead (might have been necessary or better to take live "fresh" organs over recently deceased people's organs, I dunno bout that shit) and in fact he could've lived (regardless of how, even if barely) if they never pulled the plug on him.

Personally, I'm comfortable with the fact that I can save someone's live with my organs, but choose not to because I don't trust or condone the medical industry. I don't care how that makes me look, I don't even know the person I'm helping, they could be a pedophile or the next president, I personally don't think it's worth the small possibility that I could be neglected for my organs.

Do hospitals make money off organ transplants? Supply and demand makes me think yes. Organs are always going to be in high demand, and as long as our medical industry remains that--a profitable industry, I'm sure it'll remain that way.
