How did that just happen?!
I was hunched over on a bar stool at Tami's watching the girls finish their snack.
Suddenly, I got a swift internal kick straight up. I actually shouted Ow! and kicked the plug in out of the wall beneath my chair.
Once I stood up and convinced myself that I felt a kick and not a bizarre muscle cramp, I felt something that felt like a much-bigger baby rolling over, as if to say, "I'm done with you!"
I would love to feel movement consistently. We've had 4 ultrasounds and every single time we've seen almost no movement, no wiggling hands, no wiggling legs, no crazy flips. During the NT scan, baby rolled slightly to the side, like a boat riding a wave.
If I really just got kicked (or punched), it makes me feel a whole lot better about my seemingly comatose fetus.
Especially with all the spotting (just a sensitive cervix) and the lack of food (still down 20 lbs).
After a really rough week, I've managed to not throw up today. Nearly 4 times, and I'm exhausted, but so far...I'm good. We'll see if I'm brave enough to tackle left-overs.
