portfolio day was today and i got to visit some of the schools. this is what i remember some of them saying:

CCS- the lady said that this is the kind of stuff that makes the hairs on her neck stand up. that was her reaction from the henree piece. she told me she could relate to my art and she told me all of this nice stuff.

MICA- hans told me my pieces were like narrative stories and that he could read them well. he noticed how my art has become more minimal and he asked me why. and i told him i felt like i had nothing at the moment.

SFAI- the lady was nice at first and then she got weird with my sketchbook. she recommended psychology books to me and told me to work more w/ relationships.

KCAI- i was his last review and he was in a hurry but he liked me stuff and he told me i should really try out and he told me to draw more figures. i think. i forgot. my mind was collapsing by then.

it's incredible the amounts of answers i had to come up with when the college reps asked me questions about my work. sometimes i improv'd and other times i answered questions i had asked myself before.

one thing that the guy from KCAI told me was that, "it's like a thought bubble". he asked me why and i told him that it's because i think too many things that dont make sense and once i lay them out it unifies.

i wanna go to KCAI really bad now. it seems like an awesome school. with ruby slippers and cowboy hats and corn crops and aliens.
