WTH yo? All of a sudden my LJ has become like spam central. I swear I have gotten 5 message commenters in 24 hours.
Anyhow, things here are good. I have started running again and loving it. Running 3km 3x a week right now, slowly increasing that to 5km. In fact doing a 5k run event with my mother this morning called Love Your Wild Side. Were not fully ready, but it's for a good cause and were not putting any pressure on ourselves except to finish it; however I am guessing we should able to get er done in under 45 minutes. We do our second 5k September 30th with Run for the Cure and that one will be a goal run, which is to say that my personal goal is to complete it in 40 minutes. I plan to keep at my 5k until I am comfortable doing 5k in 30 minutes, then start working on my 10k completion. That is until I find myself pregnant enough I have to put running on hold awhile. Not that were trying now, but it's on my mind an awful lot.
It's just that I really like our life as it is now. We are comfortable and used to our family of three. I know I really want Evangeline to have a living sibling..but newborns frighten me..between loosing Evan and Evangeline's colic as an infant and my own anxiety disorder..I truthfully am afraid. We have a good thing right now. I am phobic of changing it.
Evangeline is an awesome little 2.5 year old. Smart as a whip and willful as hell, haha surprise surprise. She keeps us on our toes to be sure and we adore her. Her language is amazing, she speaks amazing clear English and about a dozen words in French. I enrolled her in French daycare through the school for 2013, they don't accept kids until they are 3 and potty trained. That will help her French along immensely and is how I learned, full immersion and I was speaking fluently by the end of the school year. It's very important to me that she be bilingual. As for the potty side of things; Evangeline has used the potty, knows how, asks to where panties but then pees in them..She has potty ups and downs. I suspect If I were home with her she would be trained by now, but I am sure we will figure it out soon enough. The kid still has 4 poops a day somedays and at least 2 everyday, it's crazy. She eats like an adult and poops like a champ. Her sitter says it's all the Fiber in her diet since she loved raw veggies with hummus and nuts/trail mix haha. The kid can eat, we are so blessed to have a great, non picky eater.
Ok all done, off to eat a light breakfast and run 5k. Here's a picture to leave you with:
