Private Journal Entry
Lucius is home at last! He promised he would be, and he is. I am happier than I have been in such a long, long time. It's the first time in years that I've been in a house with another human being, and I cannot deny that it feels a little odd. Someone else around to talk to, to keep me company, but I also have to be considerate to him. When I was home alone I could do anything without worrying about bothering anyone, but now that he's here I must be quiet when he is working and such. I shouldn't have a problem; I am, after all, a seasoned hostess.
The Daily Prophet had a story about him this morning. The Wizengamont is apparently having problems with the memory and the Minister's reasoning for the pardon. It's too bad for them that they can't do anything about it.
I must go. I have to check the kitchens and make sure the house elves are doing what they're supposed to. They've lost a bit of training being here alone for so long.
