I got the job!
Although it has to have been a close decision, because I COMPLETELY fucked up the interview. Totally ballsed it against the wall and all that. I think the problem was that I was far too nervous, because while in the interview for the job I have now I was calm, cool, witty and generally excellent, yesterday morning saw me as a nervous wreck who could barely drink a cup of tea in the cafe next to the office where I was interviewed.
But all's well that ends well. I start on April the 22nd, which means I will be moving hopefully a few days before that. This means that I will be hard at work setting up the shop on the 30th (which as we should all remember is my birthday) but that's ok. I'll be 25 and I think I have left it far too long before doing something decent with my life.
I could literally start bouncing up and down right about now.

Apparently I will actually be more of a Floor Manager for the first few months, and that could be my official position by early next year. So in only 14 months I will have gone from tiny insignificant pleb-bookseller to a position of some authority!)
