He was pretty sure that usually business tycoon parties went in a rather different way. He was almost convinced that the flow of the evening happened to take this shape due to the fact that it was a private party and after all the person to blame for it (that is, the hero of the anniversary) had the right to ask for whatever on his birthday which resulted in a band and a famous national singer singing ballads late in the evening, and everyone was forced to move away from the dinner tables into the dance floor. He was swaying to the rhythm of some soft love song, the lyrics of which he was trying not to listen to, because his hand on her back would start sweating and he certaintly didn’t want that. So he kept his hand away from the exposed parts of her skin, painfully aware of her hand on his shoulder, wondering for the nth time that evening, how on earth did he actually get to this situation, where he was dancing at a corporation director’s birthday party as an official escort of the young Jinyo daughter-in-law.

I was listening to songs on random and this one came up, and I remember that it inspired me to write one of the de_hana snippets last year. A snippet which hasn't been posted yet, just like many others... But I remember being especially excited about this one. Although when I read it now, it's kind of embarrassing. Nevertheless, it holds precious memories, no matter how insignificant they might be.
