Life Gets in the Way
There are many things that life gets in the way of, and most of those things I can handle. I have missed doctor appointments, forgottan birthdays (I still feel badly about that one), literally forgottan about school assignments (it only happened once), I have lost touch with friends (obviously they weren't worth touching if we lost the touch to begin with, and missed key highlights in television history (I still have never seen the final epesoide of Friends or Sex in the City) but the one thing that burns me the most and keeps giving me heart ache is not being able to catch up on the Gilmore Girls! When I found out that the re-runs were on at 11 a.m. each day I saw this summer as a God's way of saying "here is your dream! Catch up little one!" and yet life has again gottan in the way! I have now missed an entire week of re-runs which is really like missing 6 weeks of the season which is like half of a season....so again I am freakin lost! I missed the fight between the hot guy and the snotty guy and Luke making a santa cake...So gift idea #1 for Christmas/Birthday/Thanksgiving/Labor Day is some sort of box set of Gilmore Girls preferably starting with season 1 since I have seen yet to see all of it. If no one can afford the box set than please check if blockbuster/hollywood video carries said DVD's and if so gift certificates would be a nice holiday treat!
