At the Dark End of the Street

Before I start, I'd like to place an advert please.

ARE YOU CATHOLIC?
HAVE YOU GOT THE INTELLIGENCE OF MELLO?
CAN YOU DEFEND YOUR RELIGION AGAINST NON-FAITH BASED OBSERVATIONS WITHOUT WANTING TO BREAK THE 5TH COMMANDMENT?
COULD YOU BE THE VOICE OF MELLO IN A NEW STORY?
(that I'm in no way already on chapter 5 of writing)
MRS Jeevas needs you!

(Will accept slightly less intelligent than Mello, considering that he's not only a genius but in the top level of Wammy's House alumni and there's not many of them around; respond with a comment and I'll contact you via pm)

Today's update is more about SheezyArt than DeviantArt. Spoiled-kitten got banned within a day and I'm not 100% that I haven't been banned too. Plus there's at least Mad-Hatters-Hare and Maiawhite walked out in protest. You never get this with Near fans. I kind of have this mental image of the ghosts of Mello and Matt cheering us on... yeah, maybe that's just me.

So what the frig happened this time? For my part it was quite grown up, I thought. I sent a post to the moderator in charge of content before I even uploaded anything. Radiant Heart read what I had to say and immediately passed me up to the manager, Spencer. Spencer replied very quickly and pleasantly. I'd reproduce the correspondance here, but I can't actually get to it. -.- Spencer even welcomed me with a comment on my Sheezy Art front page. The same page that talks about me being the debauched individual who caused all the fuss on DA. Nice bloke.

Had that been all I saw last night, then today's journal might have read something like this: 'Following communication with the lovely mods of Sheezy Art, I have decided that I won't be posting my stories there. The site is actually geared more towards minors than mature browsers. Whilst fully aware of the tough call to be made between objective art and subjective morality, the moderators have had to clamp down on more mature content. It's their call and their website, but I don't think it's therefore the correct forum for me.'

However, it wasn't the only thing I saw. I clicked onto uploaded artwork and saw that Spoiled-kitten had already had two removed. I clicked onto her front page and there it was in stark red writing - she's banned. I then read some of the comments left for her by utterly immature bullies. She gave as good as she got; Mad-Hatters-Hare and Maiawhite were right alongside her. All three had journals stating that they were off. The metaphorical birdies were flicked and off they went into the sunset. I then clicked onto the clubs and there was Spoiled-kitten's brilliant artwork - you know the one, Matt cuffed to railings and Mello all smug with a belt in his hand - posted by another person in honour of Spoiled-kitten. Click on it and you got a stick-figure animation of Mello humping Matt. I wooted and really wish I'd noted that person's name. She was pwnage!

That was actually my cue to roll my sleeves up and head into the melee, wasn't it? Unfortunately it was the early hours of the morning and I was half asleep at my keyboard. I figured I'd go abed, then this morning fight the good fight with a clear mind and screenshots. Instead, I got this:

I've tried jumping it my end, but it's definitely their end. IP ban? Bug in the system? Anyone else getting it?

Oh well, so the Sheezy Art option turned out to be an epic phail. Next? LOL
