Piece by piece
Putting together the apartment interiors is really a slooooow process. It's literally a piece-by-piece thing going on here. I think we were also spoiled with the wedding presents--monetary and appliance-wise. It's an irritating thing to want something and realize I can only afford it next month. Yes, when it comes to furniture and home accessories, I have no EQ. Give 'em to me, now, NOW!
Such was the case with our coffeetable--yes, we finally bought one of the key pieces of our living room! We found the perfect piece (right size, right color, right height) in Our Home, SM Megamall last Sunday and once we saw it was marked down, had no qualms about plunking down the money. It was delivered yesterday and is now in one corner of the apartment. It is currently being used for seating, until we can get a proper carpet and cushions.
We also finally got our aircon yesterday and it was installed this morning. So tonight I can drift off in a sweet, chilly fashion. Taray pa namin, may remote pa. AND it came with a free stand fan. And--*smug* I assembled it. Moi, without any help. Sure, it took me a good hour and a half, and twice over I had to disassemble it because I'd forgotten a part or two, but I DID IT. Ha!

Dare I even dream to get THIS sofa, spotted in the department store, and it was 20% off! I love it. And spent about 15 minutes telling Mark why it was perfect for us. I mean, you can take it apart and move the pieces around! Buuuuut...it may have to wait because we just spent for the aircon. *grumble grumble*
