PS I'm not disappointed at all with the book, in fact I was very happy with the happy ending, though I agree with my friend that there doesn't really need to be the epilogue. I think it was pretty much assumed that Harry, having lived, having defeated Voldemort, would end up with Ginny, and Ron with Hermione, etc.
I was really pleased (and surprised) that Snape turned out to be good in the end. And that Draco Malfoy kind of had a pleasant ending too (Cut to harry, book 6: "Harry would never forget that Malfoy had lowered his wand.")
