Today was a good day.
Shannon and I bought tickets to see Matthew Sweet in October.
I bought a ticket to see A Place To Bury Strangers in September.
Shannon was geeking it up with the guy at guitar center over a vintage baritone guitar.
We discovered a new record store (well, new to us) that has thousands of 7" singles for her to dig through, and tons and tons of amazing vinyl and cds for me to dig on.
I got a Ventures record, a Surfaris record, and two Thee Michelle Gun Elephant CDs. I still owe Kevin for that tip off.
Shannon got a stack of singles at a dime each, and a bunch of sleeves to finish cataloging her collection.
We then went to a cafe down the street and had amazing dinner and the best tiramisu I've had in a while, which I now know is only ever a 6 minute walk from my front door.
