Well I haven't updated in a while. It seems I've just lost time to myself these days. I haven't written in my journal very much either. It's a bit sad really.
Work is insane and I think I really am going to loose it. But oh well. I get to be an ass to stupid people and I can get away with it, so we're good there. I hate my bosses, but I still really adore the majority of the people I work with. The days go by fairly quickly with certain people, and for that I'm grateful. Eight and a half hours dealing with thousands of passengers who don't know their left foot from their ear gets annoying real quick.
As for life. The kitten I adopted from Nanda is adorable. Her name is Corrin and she's a bundle of energy. She purrs the instant you pick her up, and runs around the house like she's on crack. It's fun to watch her interact with the other cats in the house. Some of them she's scared of, the others she will sit there and play with their tails until they turn around to try and smack her. She's gray and has little white paws and the loudest meow Ive ever heard out of something so little. I love it.
In ten days I leave for Germany for one week. I'm really looking forward to this. This is my vacation. My chance to be ALL by myself, with no phone and no computer. I need this, and I can't wait. Hanna is picking me up from the train station in Mannheim. I can't wait to see her. It's going to be nice. My mother is letting me borrow her REALLY nice digital SLR. That is awesome. Ten days baby. (and I soooo haven't even begun to pack)
On to choir. Ohhhhh Choir. It's the same as it's always been. Except this year we're doing Bach's Mass in B minor. Umm, really fucking hard. REALLY fucking hard. And then in Chamber Choir we're doing a few Renaissance pieces, and he has me singing TENOR I!!!!!!! Holy shit. Yeah. I mean, I guess I have the notes?? Most of them at least. He just wanted me there because I guess he thinks I have the lowest range of the altos, and the tenor's part is kind of high for them. So it makes sense, but Ouch.
What else is there to say. Surprisingly I don't really have that much to say. I suppose I could say that I'm swearing off men, but we've all heard that song and dance one too many times. And I know that won't happen. (note to self- 29 year olds are nice, but don't go home with them. bad idea)
And I had my first beer. Yes, I know. I had a beer. And yeah, I liked it....I wasn't completely disgusted. It was at Sweet Water Tavern off 28. I don't remember what it was called. It's the top one on the list. Yeah. :)
