(no subject)
So far Europe is great. I'm in Prague right now with Colin, and it feels great to be able to relax and not have a crazy ass schedule everyday. I swear, on tour, we had to wake up at 5 every morning. Ugh. It was nuts. But we saw a lot of great things, and performed in some really beautiful cathedrals. The only problem...we performed EVERYDAY. And that really starts to take a toll on you. I had no voice by Wednesday. But aside from that. We performed at Notre Damn of Paris. Oh my god that was awesome...except for the whole sitting through yet another hour long mass in a language I don't understand. But hey. Whatever. There were thousands of people there, and we got to process out with the clergy and everything, so all in all, it was a freaking awesome experience. We also did a TON of touristy things, which sometimes was awesome, and sometimes got to be a little annoying. But whatever. The places we went to were beautiful, so I'm not complaining.
Then they all left Thursday morning.....and I got stuck in the airport all day. And I do mean all day. From 8:15AM until my plane finally left (it got delayed for an hour) at 7:45ish. Yeah, that was fun. And I had been up since 5AM with my choir, and I didn't get into Prague until 9:30ish, and then I had to wait for my bags, and yata yata.....so I didn't get here until around 11. Not cool. Anyway. But now I am here, and we're supposed to be leaving for Croatia on Tuesday......we'll see how that goes.
Other than that, I really have nothing to say. I don't particuarly feel like recounting all ten days of my choral tour....so I won't. :) I'll do that later. For right now, i'm done, and I'm going to go find something to eat. :)
