I GOT A JOB
Holla at your girl :) After a month of waiting, two interviews, and an observation, I nailed that sucka! I am now a second grade teacher at Krey Elementary School. The school has 950 children and many staffers - which will now include me. I am just beyond excited. There was a lot of blood sweat and tears that went into me getting the position in Brentwood and I am thrilled to be a part of my local community even more than I am now! PT and I will be on the same schedule and I will be able to take him with me to work...I am now a full time working mommy who actually gets paid for teaching!
I would not have been able to do this without the support of my family and friends. Party on DUDE! You all rock for supporting me both with time and with your words of encouragement. I keep saying that I am so lucky and I will keep saying it.
So watch out world I am officially an educator. Lock your doors and stay off the sidewalks ;) Go ME :) HEEHEEHEE! I am still just so giddy I can hardly handle it.
