Stamp Till you Cramp
So I am exhausted today, but in a good. way. Last night I finished up all of my 75 handmade Christmas cards - I worked with a great group of ladies that made the time fly. I wrote all the notes, inserted a picture of the boy, and addressed all the labels throughout today. I am ready!! Hope I didn't forget anyone because my hands are a bit sore to try and make anymore. However, I have not laughed like that with a group of women in a long time. The boys all got together and took care of the kids in the divided off room while we women hung out at the kitchen table crafting. This should be a monthly event! Mr. Gravy let me sleep in for a 1/2 hour, what a guy. We took seperate cars so that Mr. Gravy could leave with the boy once it was nigh nigh time. It was great!!
Yesterday we went to Benny's 2nd birthday party which broke my heart because he is such a grown up little boy! He is getting so big and is such a nice boy! He and PT got along well - there were no fighting and all the other children shared the toys so well with everyone. It was such a relaxing party where people just did their own things - chatted and just hung out enjoying the beautiful Pinole weather. I am still sad that Benny and PT are growing up so fast that it is good to sometimes be able to just take some time and just watch them.
Speaking of watching - we put a space heater in PT's room and have the humidifier going. I am not sure if he will ever sleep without it. Normally he goes down and talks to himself (practicing his speech etc.) but not today man, he was went right to sleep because his room is SOOOOOOOOOO the perfect temperature!! What a good and tired little boy.
