My New job
What a great experience I had last week!!! I was able to have everything happen from the very worst to the very best and can't wait for what my next days have to offer!!
My first grade class was insane - very structured and busy. I had children fight and a child totally have a crying fit 5 minutes before the end of the day. It was great. They definitely kept me on my toes. I look forward to dealing with more situations and learning more tricks of the trade.
My next day was a 7th grade social studies...This was crazy. I remember what I was like at that age and I sure smelled blood as soon as a sub walked in. My last period was awful. I girl wrote a note to another student that said, "UR gonna die. Because I said so Duh!" I sent her to the office and the vice principle called the police and interviewed the other student who was the notes recipient. It turned out the girl was telling the boy to stop leaning back in his chair or he was going to die. Whatever! It still was an uncomfortable place for me to be but so good at the same time.
I have a middle school P.E. Classes tomorrow and Thursday so it should be good times. HA!! I love this job. You never know what is going to happen and you learn so much with each minute. I should have done this a long time ago :) Mr. Gravy is quite happy to have the lady of the house having more of a financial contribution:)
