So we are still in the middle of the remodel and I think PT is about ready to go out of his mind. Plus I have to order new tile because the one that came in from the HD is NOT what I expected at all - so we have 3 bathrooms and only one toilet!! Good thing for multiples.
PT is growing so fast and is becoming such a big boy. He spends a weekend with Grammy a month which allows MR. Gravy and I to sleep in, when we are not working, and really get things done around the house. He has started saying Uh Oh all the time now, he will take a toy and throw it over the gated community and then say Uh Oh and point to the toy. He is also really starting to respond to the sign language so I am glad I never gave up on that!! We went to a baby shower on Sunday and the guests were freaking out that PT was only 10 1/2 months old - they kept asking me if I was sure. I said well he is 11 months on the 29th and I am pretty sure I was there for his birth!! There was another 1 year old there as cute as a button. PT was a very nice boy and played nicely with everyone.
PT also took a really bad fall last Monday at our music together class one of many to come I am sure. He was so pleased with himself for taking a few steps that at least he was smiling on the way down. There was a large rug burn on top of a bruise (pictures to follow) and he chipped his tooth...I think we both handled it well. He cried for less than a minute and I did not freak out. We didn't realize that he had chipped his tooth until he bit me and actually broke skin. Ouch! I am going to try and take him to the dentist next week - he is still eating and the chip is fairly small so I don't think the nerve is exposed. The tooth is pretty sharp and he keeps biting his lip and leaving a mark. That's my boy - only I sign of things to come.
On another note I am ready to student teach but not really :( National is not set up for me to student teach until September which means I have issues!! School starts here in July. Oh well I am getting more and more annoyed thinking about it. They had me drive all the way to Stockton to inform me of policies that should have been laid out from the beginning...Oh Well. Now I know. I am still not anxious to leave the PT boy but have found a great place for him to go so we will see how it works out. I just need to get this part of the equation taken care of and be done with the stressful part of school and move onto the fun part of my masters.
