hullo there :) i havent written for a while as am have like three friends on this and feel a bit of a billy! how did u guys collect ur friends list? pimp it about a bit like the bo-hatches that u r? haha, joking.
life is treating me fine atm! am sad that the weekend is finishing tonight but heh only three weeks to a two week holiday, woot! soon september will come tho and i shall have to write essays again and face the horrors (as a pgce student at work described it) of doing a pgce! heh, lets hope i can find some positive in it! no...i WILL find some positive in a pgce, thats the spirit ;P
i went to free comic book day with jimbob on saturday at travelling man and my to read pile has grown! i did actually want free comics but the thought of walking down and back again to town made me go whiney and girly. im glad i went tho! picked up a really funky graphic novel book called 'flight' which has work from over twenty independents who have all done their own comic strip on how they interpret the word 'flight' - some of them are real pretty! the free comics were ones that werre mainly aimed at kids (eg the animations of them would be very cartoon netword) but is good as i like copying certain frames from them in my sketch book so any will do :)
i have decided that when jim and my friends arent students anymore and i make it as a teacher that in my school holidays i will try and write childrens books and do the artwork myself - i may try and draw my own manga as well :) would be great stuff to have my own little studio room maybe overlooking a graden area so i can get inspiration. i havent run this by jimbob yet tho -with his want of his own room for his stuff and computer and my new plan for my own room the size of our place is growing!
me and heather did loads of quizzes last night; i was thrilled that the which sci-fi/fantasy character are you showed that id be galadriel! yay :) hetta did a real scary quiz for which movie villain she'd be - the questions were dead horrid and i didnt wana go near it but hetta was agent smith which made me laugh :)it was a typical girls together night - all we did was analyse personalitys and ourselves all evening. i did see a picture of kelly brook not made up in a gossipy magazine which made my day, she was looking rough but i would say shes still fairly naturally pretty :) that film she has made with billy zane looks pretty bad tho...
