Another busy week!
Just when I wanted a quite week/weekend after a crazy busy weekend (Saturday brunch, househunting, Sunday BBQ, Sunday afternoon goodbye party, more househunting and of course, the house offer.), I end up doing a billion things.
Monday, I had a trip to Family Assistance and shopping. Yesterday, I did grocery shopping, a trip to the parks, MIL and GMIL for afternoon tea and a party at night. Today, I had mums group (thankfully cancelled) and bookclub tonight. Tomorrow is lunch with mum and some shopping with Katie. She's staying the night so we'll be hanging out Friday morning as well. Then the weekend is more househunting, an engagement party and maybe a movie. Aaarrrrrgggggggghhhhh.
In spite of being so tired and not feeling like it, I went to a Stampin' Up party last night. I've never been before, has anyone else? It's basically scrapping/cardmaking stuff with a particular emphasis on stamps. We got to make a little card of our own and I bought a few things - some nice pink/brown paper and a stamp set called "Family Phrases" - things like "Thankyou" "Happy Birthday" and "New Baby." I think it'll come in handy instead of printing them out on the computer. I got the "Chocolate" ink pad, because I use brown and pink and brown and blue all the time. It felt kind of pricey, but it wasn't more expensive than the same stuff at my local craft store. I've just never done stamping before on my stuff. You can see the kind of stuff it is on the blog of our demonstrator. I wish you all lived in the same state as I'm sure you'd come along if I held a workshop :) I don't have any other friends (aside from last nights hostess) that are in to scrapping/stamping/cardmaking.
Well I'm off to have some morning tea with my baby girl. A cup of tea and a piece of banana cake for me, and some banana for her. Mmmm.
