I have a confession to make. I really only wanted the boy pony from this set. Not that I dislike Mommy and Baby Sweet Celebrations- we had some good times when I was a kid. But Daddy was the only boy I had back then, and look at him. He's so manly. :)
I had a hard time finding this guy. I'd see eBay auctions for the other two families (complete), but I could only find this family without Daddy. No good. I'm going to assume that the sellers couldn't bear to part with him because he's just so wonderful. Right? Right. Anyway, I saw that someone on the MLP Arena was selling the whole family. They were being sold individually, so I could have just bought Daddy and been done with it, but I didn't want to leave the seller with part of a family- that's got to be harder to sell than all three, especially when it's the big guy that's missing. They look happy together, anyway.
How did I never notice before (when I was a kid) that Baby is a boy? He's way bigger and rounder than Ribbon, there, and he's got horseshoes on. Apparently I was not an observant child.
Anyway, there they are, washed and styled, looking very nice.

My Dancing Butterflies came on the same day (mail HEAVEN!). It was about time, too- she's the first one I ordered after that first huge package from my mom got here. It was a long wait! She's pretty special to me for sentimental reasons, so I'm glad to have her back. She's not looking quite as good as I thought she would from the listing, but I guess thats my fault for not asking enough questions- she's got a pink spot on one ear and a scrape on her eyebrow, both DS, and very dry hair. Grrrrr. I like her anyway, but if I'd known, I would have bought one from somebody else. This was before I knew about the Arena.
