Just was reading the Culture section of today's Times and happened to
catch a little column note that the Barbican's production of "Julius
Caesar" opens 14 April and stars the very lovely Mr. Ralph Fiennes in
the title role.
Gagagoogoo is what I say to that! Sadly, tho, just had a quick
squint at the Barbican's website and most tickets are already gone.
Yikes!
Had a nice night out last night at M & M's engagement party at the
Florence pub in Islington. Very cool place, lots of nice people (as is
usually the case with South Africans that I've met here - genial
without being too OTT with the matey vibe like some Aussies can be) and
I even had booze. Shocker! I coped pretty well with the
smoke, only had two coughing fits so I guess I truly am on the road to
recovery.
D has asked A to be Best Man at the wedding which now looks to be
happening on either 31 July or 1 Aug - which is cool but also means my
husband and I are basically in charge of our friends' wedding! B
has chosen
this style of dress
for the bridesmaids in a deep sage colour which I am pretty pleased
about. Just got to get the old handweights working again to
ensure no bingo wings!
It snowed for 2 minutes today. I was so happy!!!!
