Destination Denver!
I can't remember if I mentioned it or not but Matt and I have made plans to fly out to Denver for a job fair this coming Monday. And after one very long morning, we have made it safe and sound to Denver and are currently hanging out at the airport enjoying the Free Airport WiFi. Our flight left LAX at 6:15am which meant we had to wake up at 3:30 am, which for the record is far too early even by my standards. My Uncle Tom being the super hero that he is gave us a ride to the airport. We got to LAX at 4:40 am and it was packed. It was really just too early for some many people to be running around LAX. We just barely made our flight after checking one bag and waiting forever to get through security. We had a nice flight to Vegas were we had an 1.5 hour layover, which was muchly needed so I could get something to eat. The only problem with the connecting flight to Denver was our seats were in the front row which forced us to place all our carry ons in the over head bins. This meant I couldn't continue watching Voyager on my laptop during the actual flight. >_<
Other than the minor problem that Matt told his Aunt we were coming in on Sunday and not updating her than we had some how ended up with a flight arriving on Saturday it has been a pleasant journey once we escaped the hell hole that is LAX. Seriously if you are ever flight into the LA area the airport in Burbank so much less of a pain. If only the flight out of Burbank wouldn't have cost us an extra $50 a person we could have avoid that whole nightmare.
Oh well. I will keep everyone posted on our journeys in job/apartment hunting in Denver. Hopefully with any luck we will be saying good bye SCV and hello Denver!!
