That's better
well Mr Depp and Mr Bloom, being complete gentlemen waited for me and now I have seen the end of the filum. We managed not to see it at the cinema last year mainly through a lack of time so now I'm fully up to date and have decided that my birthday treat should be Johnny Depp, or failing that a visit to the cinema.
Hopefully this will be on my birthday but largely depends on the threatened visit from Mother and her other half at the weekend. That is if they make it, her Iain is suffering with sciatica, Mother is suffering with his sciatica and they have a record of last minute cancellations. They only ever stay for 1 night anyway so it should impede the plans too seriously.
In other news I am finally caught up with work, well a couple of small things left to do before the starting tomorrows scheduled stuff but after playing catch up for about three weeks it's a major relief. A couple of things took longer than anticipated and with various delays added in I ended up being about three days behind. It doesn't sound too bad except that there was little opportunity to catch up. My own fault for for both underestimating job time and taking on a couple of things I should have said no to.
I will try harder to say no ;-)
