Upon re-watching the scene, for a spit second Dean's hand clenched in the fabric - Seriously, that split second of emotion showed so much more about how he truly felt about Cas.
I was so shocked the first time I saw the scene, I missed everything. Watch it again and just listen to his voice shake and then see how he holds the coat. He is using anger because he can’t breakdown yet. He has to save his Sam, Bobby, and the world. He can’t let himself feel the loss, because he still has to take care of people.
I think also, he doesn’t want to believe that Cas is gone and if he doesn’t admit it to himself, then maybe it isn’t true.
I saw that. I think that's when I cried harder. He clenched the fabric and got chocked up. When Dean's upset, and trying not to man!cry, he gets angry. It's his deflection tool.

And I'm positive Bobby is fine. I had seen stuff from 7x03 a week or so ago, so I'm not too worried for him right now. I still hate that Bobby's place (THE PANIC ROOM) is gone. All those resources... gone. Bobby's memories with Karen Crowley gone. The late night Craig and Scotch talks by the fire. COULD YOU IMAGINE IT
