And you are 100% correct. SPN is a love story so this makes perfect sense. And Mizra's right, the "We both deserved to be saved." is perfect. It is also in the style of SPN.

Since, they had to fake his death, wouldn’t it make sense that they had faked the entire character background!?!?!?!? That way they show Bobby and the boys a way to kill demons (which may or may not actually work) that wouldn’t hurt my sweet baby angel Crowley! It also prevented them from using any of their usual demon handling techniques. Further evidence to support, we have never seen Crowley’s “demonic” eyes. *Clings to theory*

My son yelled "MOM, your demon boyfriend is on Dr Who!" when he saw him.
I went tearing in the room like a wild woman.me: "Is he a good guy or a bad guy?"
son: "I have no idea." Then Canton pulled a gun on someone and my son was very upset.
I calmed him down saying,"Come on you know things are never like they seem with the Doctor and now they have Crowely. You know there's going to be a double twixle."
Son was much relieved by my crazy tv logic.

But please my dear, I can't take any more Mark Shepard holding a gun. I just can't, people are beginning to look at me oddly as I try not to squee.
PS if you respond with a Dean holding a gun I will actually die.
