Home Alone...
So, Dave is at a baseball game tonight. I watched Napoleon Dynamite for the first time. Here are my thoughts:
Fav Character - LaFawnduh (from Detroit no less...)
Fav Scene - Lyle (I think that was his name) shoots the cow in front of a bus full of kids
Fav Supporting Role - Pedro's cousins (possibly also from Detroit...)
Least Fav Character - annoying uncle
Least Fav Scene - Napoleon drawing stuff
And some questions I have:
Is this movie set in the eighties? Literally everyone in the movie is sporting something retro.
Does Pedro ever thank Napoleon?
Is Pedro upset that Napoleon stole his chick?
Why does the "Happy Hands" club only do sign language for half of the Backstreet Boys song?
I could go on, but there are too many. This will suffice for now.
Other notes:
Cheerleaders START COMING TO PRACTICE OR I AM TAKING YOU OUT OF THE HOMECOMING ROUTINE. Seriously, we start practicing it tomorrow. If you don't show, I will pull you out. Practice becomes mandatory next week.
I have already begun my back to school shopping. Fun!!! Actually going back to school - not fun. Can't I just do the shopping??
I have some pretty crappy ratings on ratemyteachers.com. People say I talk about and favor the cheerleaders too much. That's odd - I generally grade them harder... And the reason I call on them in class is because they answer questions. They know if they don't that I'll give them a hard time. I'm sure that they will all attest to these facts.
