Well, here we are
Hi there! We had a wireless network availability in Kentucky (thanks to the neighbor family....), but it was sketchy at best, and I wasn't that comfortable sitting on their doorstep to log on to their network, so I didn't get a chance to update. Cedar Point amusement park was INCREDIBLE! We rode every single one of the roller coasters (16) and two thrill rides - MaxAir and SkyHawk, both swinging type rides. Now we are near Wayne, NY, at David's mom's. Their property is beautiful, we arrived on June 18 and will stay through the 27th. I had a class reunion (a whopping *5* people showed up, losers), went to Darien Lake Six Flags, Mac's, Seneca Farms, Cam's, PYMS 8th Grade graduation to see Stepdaughter Michelle for the first time ever, had a thunderstorm today, saw a JILLION little itty bitty frogs, spending time with niece twins age 3 Faith and Mariah, saw Carrie (we have a date tomorrow night), saw Amanda (she graduates from HS on Saturday), have taken tons of pictures.....
alas, you cannot see them, I only have a dial-up connection here (thanks to Johnny for sharing his computer with us). Seabury was on the front page of the 2nd section of the Chronicle Express. I ordered both his CDs, and can't wait to hear them when we get home around July 2.
Tonight we had dessert first (homemade strawberry shortcake), and will have Zweigles and sweet corn for dinner, then a campfire and s'mores. We're having a family picnic on Monday night, with Carl & Eve and their kids, Dawn and her kids, David and me and Kelly, and Darlene and Tom and Johnny. There's PLENTY of room up here on top of the hill, it will be so much fun!
