So I cheated yesterday.
I bought myself an early Christmas present, and wore it today. It's from Brae to me, except he doesn't know it. Bwahahaha.
It's a necklace and earring set from a shop downtown. The owner is an Air Force wife and she designs all her own stuff. Artistic Works by Lu. This particular set, was designed by myself and my friend Christy, who is also my kids' piano / kindermusik teacher! (Christy works in the back, assembling the premade items).
It's incredible. Not your average "bead shop".. everything is completely ready for putting together, you just put it on whichever type of leather/suede/chain you choose. Or you pick out what you want, and they'll put it together in a way you choose or looks best, no extra charge! So i picked the "mini expressions" as the dangly bits are called, and Christy put it all together, including the loop with the extra charm.
Had to do the earrings too ;)
I LOVE it.. and i'm not much of a jewelry person. But i'm guessing i'll be back. Let's hope i can hide that receipt from Brae. LOL.
