This may be the only time I say I am proud to live in Maine:

Sadly, this is certain to go to a referedum vote and possibly be overturned. I hope not, but "the other side" has promised to get the 55,000 signatures needed to send it to a statewide vote. I have no doubt that they will get the signatures. I can only hope they won't get any farther than that. For now, let's hope we can gain an advantage while they get their signatures.
